Tenants are always worried about what will happen to their rent at the beginning of the new year. In the new year, this problem has doubled, because it is expected that the rent of housing, especially in big cities like Tehran, will be staggering.

Based on the reports and statistics published in the past months, it is possible to track the high rent. The monthly, point-to-point and annual rent price index in February of last year (that is, the last month when reports were published in this regard) were 2.3, 41.6 and 34.7%, respectively.

Also, the review of rent prices last year shows that we have seen higher prices every day. For example, the monthly growth of housing prices in May 1401 was about 2.5%. In June of last year, this number reached 2.3% and then in July, with a big jump, it reached 3.8%.

In August of 1401, the situation of housing inflation calmed down a bit and reached 2.8%, but in September it peaked again and reached 3.5%.

But it was the month of Mehr when we suddenly saw the unbridled increase in prices in the housing market. In such a way that the growth of prices has reached a record of 6.1%.

Of course, in the following months, housing price inflation has decreased and reached 3.7%, 2.8%, 2.8% and finally 2.3% in February.

Housing rent has also gone through a similar situation. In a way that in October of last year, the price stagnation left 6.1%. That is why last year, the situation of tenants, especially in big cities, was not interesting at all.
